1. Why should I use a steamer?

The steamer is loved by the fashion industry and fashion enthusiasts world wide. Why? The steam increases the fabric’s thickness, enriches its colours and smooth out wrinkles. All kinds of fabrics can be steamed without the risk for shrinkage or scorching. As heat kills bacteria, the garments are refreshed. Less need for frequent washing!

2. Which steamer should I choose?

If you need to bring your steamer on travels or if you live in a small place, you should go for a Cirrus travel steamer. It is both effective and portabel.

If you have more space at home we on the other hand recommend you to buy a Cumulus steamer. It is perfect when you want to steam all your shirts at the same time and it is easy to move around thanks to its wheels.

If you have a shop, a showroom or work in another fashion profession that requires a great and solid steamer, we recommend Stratus- our professional steamer. It is developed for the fashion industry and to handle being used several hours a day.

3. How do I shop at Steamery?

It is quit easy! You add the products you want to buy to your shopping basket, when you are done, click on the icon for the shopping basket. Then you will be forwarded to a page where you can place your order and chose among our delivery and payment options. 4. Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, you can cancel or change your order without additional costs if your package hasn’t been sent yet. You can still cancel or change your order even though the order has been sent, but then you will have to pay for the delivery back to us as well as for the delivery of the new order. 5. Where is my package?

If you want to track your order, please check the information in your order confirmation, which you have received on email. Deliveries within Sweden normally take between 1-3 working days and the deliveries within EU normally take between 2-5 working days depending on which delivery option you have chosen. If you haven’t received your package within that time period, please contact us here on info@steamery.se. The deliveries can sometimes take a longer time during campaigns and holidays.
6. I missed to pick up my package, what can I do?
The package is kept at the post office for 14 days. If you have missed to pick it up, we can place a new order but you will pay for the delivery back to us and the delivery costs for the new order.

7. Have you received my return?

You have 30 days to return your product. To be able to make a return we require the product to be in the same condition as when you purchased it. It can take up to one week for us to process your return, we will send you an email conformation when we have received your package and if the product is in it’s original condition we will transfer your money. Please note that the cost for deliveries back to us are payed buy the sender. You can read more about how to make a return here.

8. I have returned all of the products I ordered, but still received an invoice. Why?

Even though you have returned all the products you have ordered you will still pay the cost for the return delivery. We recommend you to use Shenker private package for returns. If you have paid with credit card you will receive the whole payment excluding the delivery cost. If you have payed with invoice, we will send you an invoice for the delivery cost.

1. What is the difference between Cumulus and Stratus?

The biggest difference is the fact that Cumulus is the perfect choice for homes, when you need to steam around three times a week. Stratus is on the other hand a professional model developed to meet the needs from the industry.

2. How do I use Cumulus?

You start with putting your machine together, then you open the water tank by removing the black plug in the bottom of the tank. You fill the tank with water, put the black plug back on and place the water tank back in place. You start the machine by pushing the on/off button. Within 45 seconds it is up and running and you are ready to start steaming.

When you are steaming with Cumulus it is a few things that is great to keep in mind. Hold the mouthpiece in a horizontal direction and avoid angel it vertically. Another tip is to not steam to low, instead hold out the garment to be able to go over those areas.

If you aim to create creases on your pants for example, please use the press clamp and press tool to either put on your steamer or press against when steaming. If you want to steam a skirt or a pair of pants, please add the clamps on the hanger accompanying the steamer.

You don’t have to use distilled water, but it is important to remember to descale your steamer on a regular basis. Find more instructions about how to descale your steamer here.

1. What is the differens between Cirrus and Cumulus?

The biggest difference is that Cirrus is a portable hand steamer and Cumulus is a bigger model with a lager tank which enables a longer time of steaming.

2. How do I use Cirrus?

You start with removing the small water tank and filling it with water. Then you put the tank back to the machine and connect it to the electricity. After 20 seconds your are ready to go by pushing the steam botton. Cirrus has a "steam on demand" funktion which means that it will steam when you push the botton. This function saves the water and therefore gives you a longer time of steam. Please note that we recommend you to use distilled water in your Cirrus.
