Terms & Conditions

 

Introduction

The general terms & conditions apply when you as a consumer (the “Customer”) place an order via www.steamerystockholm.com (the “Website”) or during a popup event hosted by Steamery.

These Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) form a contract between the Customer and Steamery AB, a Swedish company registered under registration number 556926-1166 and located at Sankt Paulsgatan 22B, 118 48 Stockholm, Sweden (hereinafter “Steamery”). 

Orders

By making a purchase from and using the Website, the Customer agrees to the Terms of Use. The Customer shall make sure to have read and understood the Terms of Use when using our site. The Customer can at any time remove a product from the cart before placing an order. 

 

Confirmation

Once Steamery has received an order, an electronic confirmation will be sent to the Customer’s e-mail address, as confirmation of the purchase.

It is important that the Customer enters the correct e-mail address when placing an order.
We recommend saving this e-mail since the order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a proof of the purchase.

 

Payment, Prices, Fees & Taxes

The prices are presented in either SEK, DKK, NOK, EUR, GBP, USD or CAD.

For orders within the European Union, all prices are inclusive of VAT. No additional taxes or fees will be charged upon delivery. 

For orders shipped outside the European Union, prices are shown excluding VAT. Please note that your order may be subject to local import duties, taxes, and handling fees upon arrival. For Norway and Switzerland, all duties and taxes are calculated and included at checkout, meaning your order will be delivered without any additional charges.

These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in your order total. Any such fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

As regulations vary between countries, we recommend contacting your local customs office for further information. It should be noted that Steamery has no control over these charges and, since these charges differ between countries, Steamery cannot predict their amount.

Steamery accepts most major credit- and debit cards (e.g. Visa, MasterCard and American Express). If the payment is not confirmed, the order will not get processed. Also, where available, Steamery collaborates with Shopify checkout/Shopify payments.

Delivery

Steamery ships worldwide. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the postal services and their partners. Standard delivery time is estimated to 3-5 business days within the EU. Standard delivery time is estimated to 5-7 business days worldwide. If you cannot find your desired destination country in the shipping list, please contact the Steamery customer support at info@steamerystockholm.com

In case the Customer feels the delivery is delayed in such a way that they no longer wish to fulfill the purchase, it is the Customer’s responsibility to cancel the order. In case the order has been dispatched, the Customer is required to receive the order. Cancellation is not valid until the Customer has received confirmation from Steamery either by e-mail or telephone.

If a product has been discontinued, Steamery has the right to cancel the purchase and refund the paid amount to the Customer. Steamery will notify the customer if a replacement or equivalent product is available.

Returns

The Customer has the right to return the product within 30 days from placing the order. This right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received.

Steamery does not offer free returns and the customer will need to pay the return costs. If an item is damaged during transport, Steamery should be contacted within 30 days for information about an exchange. Steamery does not take responsibility for returns that may get lost in the mail.

All approved refunds will get processed within 14 days of arrival to the warehouse. The bank transfer might take several days to be visible on the Customer’s account. Please contact Steamery if the refund does not appear within 20 days.

Warranty

Steamery voluntarily provides a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty (the “Warranty”) for each product sold via the Website, the concept store and popups. Our warranty does not affect your rights under law as a customer. Consumers have the right to choose whether to claim service under the Warranty or under their consumer law. For further information about consumer law, please contact the local consumer organization.

The Warranty Covers the Following

Steamery hereby warrants that the product, for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase from Steamery via the Website, is without defects, provided however that the product is only used in accordance with published guidelines from Steamery for the product, including the product’s user manuals, technical specifications, etc. and subject to the limitations set forth in this document.

The Warranty only applies to the product the Customer purchased for their own use and not for resale.

The Warranty Does Not Apply to

(a) products that were bought through other channels than the Website;
(b) issues that occur more than 1year after the date of original purchase from Steamery via the Website;
(c) cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, and broken plastic;
(d) damage caused by any external cause, including but not limited to accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire;
(e) damage caused by operating or use of the Product other than in accordance with published guidelines from Steamery for the product, including the product’s user
manuals, technical specifications, etc.; or
(f) a product that has been modified.

If the Customer submits a valid claim under the Warranty, Steamery will, at its option:
(a) repair the product; or
(b) replace the product.
