How to keep your clothes fresh when traveling

You've chosen the outfits. You've rolled, folded, and arranged everything with care. Then the bag gets zipped, loaded, and tossed in an overhead compartment, and the work begins to show. 

A little preparation goes a long way. The right tools take up almost no space and make the difference between clothes that look traveled in and clothes that look lived in, on purpose. 

Can I bring a steamer when I travel? 

Yes. A handheld travel steamer is one of the most useful things you can pack. Creases disappear fast, and the hot steam also targets odors, so you can freshen a garment between washes without reaching for the laundry bag. One thing worth checking before you go: water quality and voltage at your destination. Hard water can leave limescale in your steamer over time. If that's a concern, pack a bottle of Steam Water or pick up distilled water when you arrive.
